Xfm Competition Rules
Rules for the competitions currently running on Xfm.
The Guardian Festival Guide on XFM Network, May 2012
1. The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio's ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.xfm.co.uk/onair/competition-terms-and-conditions apply to 'The Guardian Festival Guide' radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from Monday 21st May 2012 to Friday 25th May 2012 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is XFM NETWORK.
Xfm is the promoter.
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.
Details of the Competition:
3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must listen out for the festival track as named by the presenter in each show. Listeners will then need to send a text message with the word “WIN” to 83936 (the “Text Message Line”) in order to enter the draw. Text messages will be charged at standard network rates. The opening and closing times of the Text Message Line will be given out on air.
4. Competition rounds will take place in the following shows across the day on Friday May 25th 2012 only:
o London Breakfast
o Manchester Breakfast
o Midmorning Network
o London afternoon
o Manchester afternoon
o Drive network
5. Each winner will be announced on-air in the relevant show.

RULES
1. The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.xfm.co.uk/onair/competition-terms-and-conditions) apply to ‘XFM Street Team comp - Win with The Locker Room on XFM London,’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run on Thursday 3rd May between 2pm – 5pm (“the Duration”). 2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.
Details of the Competition:
3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must visit the XFM Street team at ‘The Locker Room by Foot Locker’ store in Lakeside Shopping Centre on Thursday 3rd May between 2pm – 5pm.
4. Listeners will need to fill in a simple entry form to be put into the draw. These can be picked up from the XFM promotional team in store between 2pm – 5pm on Thursday 3rd May.
5. The winning entry will be picked at random by XFM on Friday 4th May and be contacted within 7 days

Open’er Festival on XFM London and XFM Manchester, April 2012
RULES
1. The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.xfm.co.uk/onair/competition-terms-and-conditions) apply to Open’er Festival radio competition("the Competition") which will run from 23rd April 2012 to 27th April 2012 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is XFM.
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must text AAA to 83936 when they hear the Access All April alarm. Standard phone charges apply.
Every day XFM will ‘Open the daily (sound effects) door’ and play a pre produced montage featuring 3 of the artists playing at Open'er.
Listeners have to text in AAA for their chance to play. If we call them back and call them to air and they can name all three artists and songs correctly then they win the daily prize of tickets and flights.

4. You must be a minimum of 18 and hold a valid passport
5. Listeners can text in in entry as many times as they like but can only win once.

7. Winner will need to arrange their own visa (if needed) to travel – the responsibility for arranging this, and any costs incurred, rest with the winner and their guest.
8. Unless otherwise indicated, prizes do not include travel, accommodation or spending money. The tickets are not transferable.

3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must call 0161 662 9000 (the “Telephone Line”). Telephone calls will be charged at standard network rates. Competition rounds will take place on Friday 16th March, Friday 6th April and Friday 28th April. The opening and closing times of the Telephone Line will be given out on air.
4. One person will be picked at random from all call lines and will come to air to guess the song. If they answer correctly they will win the VIP tickets and will go through to the bonus competition taking place on Friday 5th May for their chance to win the cash prize.
5. The bonus round is a crossbar challenge, for which additional terms and conditions apply. These terms and conditions will be provided to participants one hour before their participation in the bonus round.
