The Xfm Session: Goldfrapp
We are exceptionally proud to announce the latest Xfm Sessions Podcast will feature an interview and exclusive session tracks from one of the world’s finest - and most stylish pop outfits - Goldfrapp.
As we're suire you know by now, Xfm is the first major UK radio station to develop exclusive podcast content featuring full tracks from established artists. So far we've presented exclusive shows featuring Paul Weller, Elbow, The Rakes, Stereophonics, Nada Surf, Skin,
The Mystery Jets, Duels and Hundred Reasons.
Coinciding with the release of their new single ‘Fly Me Away’ and following year when the band's career went uber-huge, we were lucky enough to speak to Goldfrapp vocalist Alison Goldfrapp and the band’s normally reclusive synthesiser guru Will Gregory about working together, playing live, lyrical inspiration and writing the songs that helped make up their last album ‘Supernature’.
All this plus live exclusive session tracks recorded in the Xfm Studio including frankly awesome versions of ‘Satin Chic’, ‘Number 1’ and ‘Ooh La La’.
